Australasian Recycling Label - Try to purchase products with the first two variations of the label so that you can recycle!
Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs - An organisation that collects and locally recycles plastic bread tags to raise funds to buy wheelchairs for disadvantaged people, mainly in South Africa.
REDcycle - An initiative in collaboration with Coles, Woolworths and some of Australia’s most-loved brands that recycles soft plastics. Use their website to find a drop off point near you.
Envision Hands - An organisation that turns donated bottle caps into prosthetic hands.
Containers for Change - A recycling scheme in WA and Queensland that provides 10 cents for every container you donate, which can be refunded or donated.
Officeworks Recycling Stations (Bring it Back program) - Recycling stations at Officeworks stores for e-waste, cartridges, old phones, pens, markers, batteries and more.
Ikea Recycling - Ikea has recycling bins usually at the front of the store for globes, cardboard and batteries. Additionally, for a cost of $30, they can take old mattresses from your house and dispose of it in a sustainable manner.
